The other day, I was browsing a consignment shop in Nolita when I came across a pair of boots I had been eyeing forever. The were cute and casual – the usual traits I look for in my shoes, but what I loved most was the extra inches they’d add to my height. They weren’t regular heels — I don’t do so well with those — they were wedges which wear so much more comfortable.
Unfortunately, the pair I scouted in Nolita were too big. So now I’m on the hunt for a pair I can wear.
Here’s what I came up with.

This is them. The pair I’ve been wanting for awhile now. I first saw them on a yoga instructor outside the studio (is off duty yoga instructor a thing?) looking really cute with her cropped leggings. These were the original hidden wedge boot (you may remember the sneakers she created years ago) sparking a global trend that I’m allover.
These seem like they would match most outfits making them a go-to when it’s time to get dressed.
I know — a bit hiker-ish. But don’t they look cozy as all? Could be the call for winter.
Vintage Bohemian at its best. I wonder if that heel is comfortable though.
My feet would probably move into these and never want to leave. They look so wear-able. And chic!
These pack a hidden wedge. I like the cool girl attitude they convey plus they’re a major steal at this price.
