If you’re ready to dance your way into amazing shape then African Dance could be for since it’s a great way to have fun and break a sweat. The only thing is it requires a lot of choreography so can be tough for those (like me) who suck at following steps. As I peruse the internet for effective streaming workouts, I was excited to discover this awesome video on the BeFit channel. With elements of African dance (without the confusing choreography), and done in a tabata format (4 sets of each routine performed with short breaks in between), I loved how my body moved in new ways while my mind stayed fully engaged.

That is the key to dance – to stop thinking so hard about what you are doing and just let your body move. 🙂
Thanks for doing the video and posting!
I agree – dance (and all exercise) should be about moving the body so the mind can stop thinking. Thanks for watching!
Looks like so much fun!
It was! Thanks, Michele.
