5 Jumpsuits To Ring In The New Year

So now that New Years Eve is almost here, it’s time to outfit-up for the night. Being so sick of all my party dresses, I’ve decided to take a different direction with my look. I’m going to rock a jumpsuit.

Carving out its niche in evening wear many seasons ago, the jumpsuit is an awesome solution to the ubiquitous quandary of what shall I wear . It’s easy-breezy wrapped up into one piece –making it a no-brainer when it comes to getting dressed. And with so many options to choose from, it’s easy to find one that suits every style.

Just keep in mind a couple things before stepping out in a jumpsuit for the evening.

First, its onesie status — though super easy to zip on, is not so straight forward when it comes time to pee. If you choose one that’s got sleeves, you’ll need to pay extra close attention to the fabric when it’s removed from your arms…don’t let it fall on the floor!

Next, while most figures can pull off the silhouette it’s important to choose one that works with your body. Go wide-legged to balance out an hour glass frame. And be mindful of over-flow-y fabrics when you’re petite.

I’m still in the shopping section for the big night out next week. Here’s what I’m looking into now.

This has a Charlie’s Angels vibe, and I’m loving it– so seventies! Plus wearing all-white means I could accessorize in any color. Black and gold accents would amp up the disco party potential.

The chiffon-ish, draped asymmetricalality of this piece makes it a total classic statement. Add a cropped tuxedo jacket as the perfect topper.

Cute, right? All I need is a pretty pendant necklace and strappy pair of heels. Done.

A halter neckline is flattering for most. I’d pull my hair up and break out the big gold earrings for superstar NYE appeal.

Normally, I’m not into baring my midriff (like ever), but because it’s just side cut-outs it feels pretty glam.

    What will you wear NYE?
