Sitting still is never an easy thing for someone like me who is always looking to move. But sometimes the deepest movement comes when I’m seated. I try to meditate 10 mins a day. Usually it happens a few times a week. It doesn’t matter how often I come to sit, it’s just the focus and attention that I bring there. I use the breath to quiet my mind, and try to let go of whatever thoughts arise. Even if my brain is too busy to find the calm, I’m still better off than I was before I took the time to sit.
