There comes a time when keeping up with every style trend that goes down the runway no longer appeals. I mean, is it really necessary to be in the know of each statement making piece that’s making headlines?
Personally, I’m not interested in trying to squeeze into a trend. I’d rather know which style trend fits around me – my body, my personality and my life. And quite honestly, it doesn’t even have to be a style trend. I just want to be happy with how I look.
But, the fact is that if you’re shopping for new clothes you’ll come face to face with the latest trends because they’re dominating the store floors. So to make your spring style a strong reflection of you, you’ll want to figure out which trends to incorporate and which ones to leave behind.
In the video, I discuss 5 spring trends to consider. I also give my advice on which trend is the best to try so you don’t look like you’re trying too hard to be trendy. But instead you’re simply expressing your unique style as only you can.
5 Spring Trends To Consider
Pastels (Especially Lavender )
This biker jacket is a fresh update to typical black and will feel fresh this spring.
Sequins For Day
A little bling on your sneakers – like this pair – is a fun way to glam up your look.
Fringe
No need to go full on western with your fringe. Take a modern approach with colorful earrings instead.
Fanny Pack
Finally, a fashion trend that makes perfect sense for most lives! This fanny pack is a little small, but can easily carry the essentials on a quick outing.
Ruffles
This ruffled blouse adds a feminine touch and would look good with white or dark denim.

I already have a few sequined tank tops one of which is solid black which can be worn with a pair of jeans and really rock NYC style. Thanks E.L. for keeping us up to date!!!
Love how that outfit sounds, Pamela! Rock it!
I love what you said about just being happy how you look. I so agree with that. Style has to be how comfortable a person feels, and it changes with age.
I agree that our styles evolve. And I too believe comfort is key! Thank you, Michele.
