You don’t have to drop $100 on yoga pants. I’ve done it in the past — on Lululemon’s Wunder Under pant, and they started to pill right away. Sure, there’s the sporty technology with antimicrobial and compression fabrics, but these features aren’t really necessary all the time. I’ve got a pair of Nike workout pants for when I know I’ll be hitting a sweat fest, like in SoulCycle. But for yoga, my favorites are the plain ole pairs of cotton leggings (in supercute patterns). Here are 5 more that would hold up on the mat.
It’s like this: regular leggings (and those that cost $100!) can be see through. To combat this issue, opt for a bold pattern. This will redirect the gaze away from the transparency factor.
Polka dots in yoga? For $12, why not?
I’m a sucker for a strong floral print. I’ve got a pair like these that make me happy in the studio and on the street.
Tie dyes don’t usually do it for me, but the neutral palette adds a bit of simplicity that feels like it can handle an OM.
Again, with the floral print. Basically, if there’s a flower on it…I’m allover it.
