When this first popped up, I was like no effing way! Too old lady. But then I saw how it’s being done to reflect a more modern time. I especially love the idea of a crochet top as an underlayer – it’s feminine like lace, but more arts and crafty.

Power Suits

Who could imagine that Hillary Clinton’s pantsuit moment had legs that stretched for two years? Well, it did, but it’s been completely reimagined. Soft fabrics, vibrant colors, even shorts and skirts. If the woman you want to be in 2019 is claiming more space in the world, this magnetic statement is for you.  

Beige

Sounds boring, right? Normally, it’s the color used to describe depressing office walls. And the shade to wear when you want to blend in. But au contraire! Think of it more as an earthy neutral palette. Add in some utilitarian touches and this monotone look will be way more fab than drab.

Pretty much everyone can rock the shirt dress – just make simple adjustments so it’s most appropriate for your body. The one and done nature of this garment easily enables it to become your go-to for spring. And the classic vibe keeps it versatile for all types of occasions.
