The 4th of July definitely brings up a lot of red, white and blue – which I’m not opposed to. But since it’s summer, let’s live a little! Why not mix up those basics, and create some cool color combos? By venturing out of your usual tones, you’ll up the ante on your outfits and catch some eyes on your style.

And if you’re someone who only wears neutrals, remember that the key to moving away from your usual neutral palette is to take small steps.

For a navy base in your outfit, how about passing over red and go with orange instead? Orange and navy are complementary colors on the color wheel meaning they are the opposite hues
Navy is cool toned and orange is warm. When you pair them together both colors appear brighter.
